I love brussel sprouts...

People often ask me why my picture books are about non-traditional topics. Basically, there are lists such as "500 things that children like" all over the Internet. I look at those lists and choose something that isn't there. I honestly think that there are enough books about monsters and dragons. And farts. For some reason, farts have become the topic du jour in children's books. My next rhyming book will actually address this concept. Stay tuned!
